You Are Our Hero, Sen Sen !

After experiencing months of chemotherapy, hair loss, operations, radiotherapy, in a bid to eliminate the cancer that had infected Sen Sen, he still passed on eventually. At the age of only 7, he had to deal with the effects of the chemotherapy, the painful processes and the large intake of medicine he had to take everyday. The final day of war had arrived, after so much torturing and suffering Sen Sen finally succumbed to the cancer and passed away on 6th Oct 2009..... a very traumatised and painful encounter.

As parents, relatives and friends of Sen sen, its is extremely difficult to accept this harsh tragedy, but however it, had became a reality and we all should face it together. We knew we all had helped him to the maximum extent of our capabilities, so when it is time to let go, we ought to.

We should carry on with our lives as per normal, and Sen Sen will carry on with his life in 'Heaven'. Everything is fated and destined. Although Sen Sen only had the chance to live for 7 years, but i believe in these 7years, he had received the best care, concern and unconditional love from his parents and relatives around . We can't rewind time and prevent tragedies from happening. I believe that Sen Sen, will want everybody of us to do well in our careers, academies and relationships in all aspects.

Dear Sen Sen, i pray that you will receive unlimited peace and comfort in 'Heaven', may you rest in peace.

He's getting treatment.

Hi everybody, i'm posting to tell you about the latest udpates. Today, ShenShen had admitted to a hopsital in KualaLumpur. He has to go for further check-up to find out are other parts of his body affected. So far, the results of the report are positive. On monday, he'll be going for 'CV-line' surgery to prepare him for the Chemotherapy. On the next day, he'll commence on his chemotheraphy treatment for 5 cycles. Each cycle lasts for 3 days. This is the begininng of the better. We wish ShenShen and his family members have full courage to go through to win the war.

Hi everybody. Thanks for visiting this blog, and i hope you will pay attention to this post. Two months ago, tragedy struck. On of the top of this post, is my abdorable cousin, 'ShenShen' , who is 6 years old, was found to be having a brain tumor. At this vulnerable age yet he had to be operated. Because of the operation, he had to shave part of his hair at the back. He was very particular about his hair and loves dolling up. His heart broke when he saw, every single strand of hair dropped off from his head. He then cried, in misery. About two weeks after the operation, the results was out. The name of the tumor was 'Medullablastomas.' Although the tumor had been removed, but he sitll have to undergo chemotherapy.Chemotherapy is a type of cancer treatment, that uses drug to destroy cancerous cells and good cells in his body. Some side effects of chemotherapy are fatigue, like nausea, vommiting, decreased blood cell counts, hair loss, mouth sores, and pain. How can a 6 years old boy withstand the effects of this treatment? And now the problem is, the treatment for chemotherapy is very costly and this further burden the financial of his family. Therefore, i created this blog dedicated to my cousin. To ease off the financial burden of his family, we sincerely hope every readers of this post will chip in this fund raising excersise.
